Aztec Maps By Katie Jackson!

Map 1

My first map is of the Aztec Empire, I chose this map because I thought it showed a good picture of the area. On my map the land belonging to the Aztecs is the darker shade of grey.
The lighter shading on my map shows the Mayan Civilization. I think that this map shows a lot of things you can learn from such as where some cities are located and where the Aztecs were in comparison to the Mayans.

My second map is also of the Aztec Civilization. It shows the Mayan zone of influence and many Aztec sites.
I chose this map because I think that it contains a lot of detail about both the Mayans and the Aztecs, including locations of many major sites.

Map 3My third map shows the small families and isolates. The lightest shade of grey shows Aztec-Tanoan. I chose this map because I thought that it was cool that it showed several major stocks and where they were located.

My fourth map shows where the Mayan and Aztec Empires were located and how far they are from the Gulf of Mexico, Pacific Ocean, and Caribbean Sea. On this map the Aztecs are the darker grey and the Mayan Civilization is the lightest grey.
I think that this map is my favorite because it shows a good view of the Aztec and Mayan Civilizations.
